Hey everyone (my 6 followers),
It's been a while since I've logged on. I've been thinking about this website from time to time and how ever since I started it I just couldn't quite figure out what to do with it. All I knew is that I wanted to create something that wasn't tied to my studies, my career, my job, or anything productive in general; something that just existed for the fun of it. However, that spirit of whimsy was promptly crushed under the weight of perfectionism and thus replaced by the urge to make something that looks "cool": not to me, but to ?someone? out there (what if the CEO of Super Cool Career INC. sees my website but it doesn't link to my commercial works or showcase my skills enough??? What if someone I'd want to be friends with irl sees my website but it just doesn't transmit the right vibe??? I HAVE to make all these people like me!!!)
Needless to say, that mindset is stupid as hell lol
It's been 4 years since I last updated my website: I'm 24 now, have a quite stable job (at least for now) and a great bunch of people around me. And having my people-pleasing impulses (mostly) subside over the years has made me come full circle into the same feeling I started this website with. I want to create something for me. And if anyone else wants to come along for the ride, then welcome aboard! I can't promise that you'll like it, and if you do, I can't promise it'll stay the same forever. I change my mind like I change clothes and I want my website to reflect that too.
If you're not myself and you've somehow still read this entire inner rambling, thank you. I hope this at least resonates with you a little. I don't have a timeline on when more stuff will come to this website and what that stuff will look like, but I've got ideas and I'm excited to do something with them for a change.
